A major storm system rolled through Minnesota yesterday spawning some 36 tornadoes and killing 3 people. To see the National Weather Services report click here. Includes radar images, storm damage reports, and photos of the damage.
Back here in the bluegrass our radar is clear. There is a strong line of severe thunderstorms moving across Indiana right now and may even dip down into the Cincinnati area tonight. This weekend's weather will be hot with increasing chances for thunderstorms as the weekend progresses into early next week. Tomorrow's highs will be in the low 90's (summer's here!) with about a thirty percent chance of storms. Sunday looks to be the same as Saturday.
I'll keep an eye on the radar. Have a great weekend everyone!
