Rain on its way

A special weather statement has been issued by the NWS for our area. An approaching upper level disturbance will enter the area late tonight and will likely stall out. This disturbance will filter in moisture from the remnants of a tropical depression in the gulf. This could mean locally heavy rainfall amounts from around 1/2 inch to 2 inches.
