After another dry but lovely weekend we could see some rain and thunderstorms coming into the area late Sunday night through Tuesday night. Some of the forecasts I'm reading are giving upwards of a 70% chance of rain and thunderstorms on early Monday. Some of these storms may be fairly strong with gusty winds and locally heavy downpours. At this point I'm afraid to get too excited. We can only hope for some relief as the late season drought continues and burn bans are in place across the area. I'll be working on my rain dance :)
Until then be sure to get out and enjoy Sunday. Highs will be pushing 80, yes I know that's crazy, with winds out of the south and partly cloudy skies. With any luck it will be the last pretty day we have for a while.
