More severe weather headed our way

It's like a bad record that keeps playing over and over.... unless you are a storm spotter like me :) First let's talk about the storms that passed through western and central KY last night. One cell in particular was a real trouble maker and it traversed from Paducah all the way up to Lawrenceburg before finally dying out just short of Frankfort. Along the way it had several tornado touchdowns, large hail (grapefruit sized), and heavy rains. Here's two pictures of the tornado as it passed through Bardstown sent to me by a co-worker.

I have yet to hear storm reports on the damage or injuries associated with this storm.

Now on to today where this morning we have already had 18 counties under tornado warnings as an impressive line of low supercells passed through. No reports of touchdowns so far, but I did personally witness a wall cloud with some rotation as the storm passed over the Alexandria Drive area of Lexington. The real show will be later this afternoon and into the evening as a major severe weather outbreak is expected.
Here's a look at the current radar-

As always I will be posting live updates to my twitter @peachybug

Have a great Wednesday everyone and stay safe!!
