The weather is doing what I like to call the Lawrenceburg split, meaning areas to our south and north are getting some severe weather while we are high and dry. Seems like this happened a lot last year with severe weather pounding Mercer County and Franklin County while leaving us in the middle with nothing. I guess that's a good thing. That doesn't mean we are completely safe here. There is a line moving southeast out of Indiana that has a tornado warning associated with the cell on the southern end of the line (as indicated on radar by the yellow diamond, meaning a mesocyclone).
It doesn't look like it will move through our area as is dips down into Kentucky but I'm going to keep an eye on the radar just in case. Will update if I hear anything. Have a great evening!
