Wow what a day out there! Mild temps and a little bit of sunshine can sure do a lot to cure the winter blues but folks, let's not get complacent. To our west a long line of severe thunderstorms is moving this way. The line stretches from just to the south west of Chicago all the way down to Little Rock. This line has a history of tornadoes with at least one reported touch down in Missouri resulting in injuries. Tornado watches have gone up for our western most counties. Looks like the rain will be here tonight around 9pm or a little later. Hopefully as the day progresses the severity will diminish. Until then here's the radar so you all can keep track.
I'll update as needed. Have a great and SAFE New Year's Eve!!!
