Ice out there! I was so thankful to wake up this morning and still have electric. Thousands in southeastern KY are without power. Judging from my location looks like Lawrenceburg got about a 1/2" of ice last night after about an inch of show fell. The radar shows most of the ice has moved off to the east of us but that does not mean we are in the clear. Looking ahead into the weekend highs will be in the upper 20's lows in the teens and it will be cloudy. Monday brings a chance of some more precipitation and WE MIGHT GET A WHITE CHRISTMAS! That would be awesome :)
Since I'm not about to drive in this mess the best pictures I could get were from my back door. I'm submitting this one as perhaps the longest icicle in Lawrenceburg! Send me your weather pics at westoflexweather@yahoo.com and I'll post them.
