Snow and Ice on the Way

The snow from our last go around hasn't even melted and old man winter has more up his sleeve. The most recent forecasts I'm reading suggest around 1-4" of heavy snow to move into our region late this evening. The snow will eventually change over to freezing rain. This combination can be especially damaging to trees and power lines. I would suggest, just in case, if you have a generator, kerosene heater, or anything else you use to keep warm that doesn't require electricity that you have them fueled up. I remember a couple years back being without power for a few days. Not fun! Also, please remember that you should never run a generator indoors. Several people that year died from the exhaust fumes from their generators. Very sad.
